Using Mindful on fair terms.
By reading Mindful you agree to these terms. If they do not work for you, please stop using the site.
What Mindful is
Mindful is a demo and portfolio project: a small, free website of short essays on everyday mental wellbeing. It is reading material, not therapy, coaching or crisis support. Nothing here replaces advice from a qualified professional. The Disclaimerexplains the limits of the content and where to find help in a crisis.
As is, with no warranty
The essays and the site are provided as is. We make no promise that the content is complete, accurate or up to date, or that the site will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove essays, pages and these terms at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Mindful and its editors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from relying on any essay.
Who owns what
The essays and the site’s code belong to the project owners. The code is public onGitHub, but no open-source licence has been applied yet, so all rights are reserved. You are welcome to read it and to link to any page. Please ask before copying essays or code elsewhere.
Third-party material belongs to its owners. That includes the placeholder photos from Picsum, the Fraunces and Newsreader typefaces, and any site an essay links to. We do not control linked sites and are not responsible for them.
Fair use of the site
Do not try to break, overload or probe the site in ways that could harm other readers, and do not use it to harass anyone.
